I haven't made it out to one of these yet, but they look like an awesome time and only happen once every few months:

"Save the date for the next Art is Social party at the Museum (Friday 2/11), this time with more galleries open, featuring our Howard Pyle exhibition! Pirate customes are encouraged, so stop by the Museum to have a look at the exhibit yourself if you need some inspiration.
