- Shine a Light on the Queen, to benefit the World Cafe Live at the Queen. This time it's going to be a night of the music of the Rolling Stones, performed by local well-known musicians. Here's the thing - general admission tickets are sold out. You can still get in with a VIP pass ($500 for a pair of tickets, if you have that kind of scratch.) Well, good for the Queen. http://www.facebook.com/events/366116296802760/
- Upstairs at the Queen is regional singer-songwriter Zack DuPont.

- There is one serious metal show going on at Mojo Main. This blog doesn't really deal in that, but if that interests you at all - check it out: http://www.mojomain.com/event/215623-black-anvil-sapremia-newark/
