Remember to check on your elderly relatives and neighbors when it gets this hot out.  Even if you know in your heart that they know how to handle themselves in this kind of heat, and you stopping by will probably disturb their peaceful afternoon in the basement (doesn't everybody's grandmother refuse to use air-conditioning and set up camp in the basement all summer?) and make the person excitedly run outside to show you his/her tomato plants.  Just check on them anyway.
