Weekday shows and events of note, 7/19-7/21:

I didn't compose this on Monday because I was involved in a two day music video shoot out of town.  So I'll just start with Tuesday events.

Tuesday:

• Asteroid #4 with Far-Out Fangtooth at Kung Fu Necktie.  21+, doors at 8, $7.

Wednesday:

• Showing of The Big Uneasy, a Harry Shearer (voice of many Simpson's characters, star of Spinal Tap, and host of "Le Show") film about New Orleans, at Theatre N.  This is the only showing of this film all week.  7pm, $10.

• Blues Jam at the Queen. 7pm, free.

• Toots and the Maytals (and a slew of other bands/DJs) at The Blockley in Philly.  Doors 7/show at 9, $30. http://www.ticketfly.com/purchase/event/38787

Thursday:

• Graffiti Radio presents: Secret Mountain, at Mojo Main (main stage).  21+, doors at 9, $5. 

• Karaoke at Mojo Main (front room). All ages, 9pm, free.

• Reading Rainbow and Creepoid (2 very acclaimed PA bands) at Johnny Brenda's.  Benefits an art collective.  21+, doors at 8, $10.
