I'm taking the week off from the weekday listings - I'm just too swamped to do anything more than a half-assed job on it, and I'd rather focus my free time on putting out a more comprehensive list for next weekend.
One note: Beach House (another band that, like Wye Oak, has lately put Baltimore on the map in the music world. Many people came to know them after they recorded with and toured with Grizzly Bear) is playing at Union Transfer on Tuesday.
