This weekend, April 12-14 (quick sketch):

I'm taking the week off.

But a quick glance tells me that:

-The Honey Badgers are headlining Mojo Main on Saturday.  http://www.mojomain.com/calendar

-Documentary Sound City is playing at the Kennett Flash Friday night, 7:30, $5. 'When you think of where some of rock's greatest and most memorable albums were recorded, chances are that LA's Sound City is not what you have in mind. This is the story that Foo Fighter's front-man and first-time director, Dave Grohl, sets out to tell about this unlikely rock landmark that changed the face - and more specifically, the sound - of music. Sound city is the place where the classics were made including, Nirvana's "Nevermind," Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" & "Rumors," Tom Petty's "Damn the Torpedos," and many, many more.' http://www.kennettflash.org/tickets.html

-There are no shows at all at the Grand Opera House this weekend.

- Fat Daddy Has Been and Soraia are playing the Queen Theatre on Friday.  (I love the Queen's new website, by the way - so much less tedious to navigate!  Well done).  http://queentickets.worldcafelive.com/

-Theatre N is showing Hunky Dory and Like Someone in Love all weekend, and on Sunday evening there's a free showing of a documentary called Red Cry, profiling the plight of Lakota women.  http://www.theatren.org/

-Logan House is still showing their February entertainment schedule.  Silly Logan House! (Cue humorous trombone noises).

-Quizzo at the Delaware Art Museum on Friday?? http://www.delawarescene.com/event.php?id=9555

-City Theatre Co.'s "Fearless Improv" is at the Buzzware Village Center in Arden, Friday, followed by open mic comedy.  8pm. http://www.city-theater.org

-Girl Talk and Janelle Monae are playing the Penn Spring Fling, Friday. $35-$55. https://tkt.xosn.com/tickets/

-The Friday shows at the Electric Factory, Union Transfer, TLA, Johnny Brenda's, and possibly Kung Fu Necktie are all sold out. Odd, right?

-Delaware's Cliff Hillis is playing the Steel City Coffee House, which is near Philly, on Friday.

-Wovenhand, which is the same guy behind 16 Horsepower, is at Johnny Brenda's on Saturday.

-The Appleseed Cast is playing the First Unitarian Church on Sunday.

King is at the Keswick Wednesday, Bobby Long is at WCL Philly Wednesday, Ben Sollee is at the Queen Thursday, Willy Porter is at the Tin Angel Thursday, Anthrax is at the TLA Thursday, Acid Mothers Temple is at Johnny Brenda's Thursday, Yarn is at the Abbey Bar Thursday, Marco Benevento is at the Blockley next Friday, UK 2013 is still way too expensive for my poor husband to go see, Toy Soldiers is at JB's next Friday, Suicidal Tendencies is at the Electric Factory next Friday, Andrew Gray and Delawarean Tim Celfo are at the Kennett Flash next Friday, Graham Parker is at the Queen next Saturday, and I'm going to cut this short at this point because I have to go talk to a man about a horse.
