- An indie-alternative band from San Marcos, TX, The Props, play a free show at Extreme Pizza. Micro critique from the jaded 30-something: this is MTV teen show music, with all the usual vocal and stylistic affectations and rich parents buying studio time. That being said, the song arrangements and instrumentation are quite good for this genre - there is the potential here for more mature, smart indie rock. It should be an enjoyable set. All ages, 8:30pm, free.
