Monday 7/30:

• Rockford Park summer concert series, featuring the usual mix of jazz and folk bands that play this sort of thing. Still, sometimes that makes the perfect date night - what else is going on on a Monday night? 6:30-8pm, every Monday through mid-August. FREE.
• Movie Monday at the Trocadero. 21+, $3. Doors at 6:30, show at 8, arrive before 7 and get a free beer and popcorn.
• The Tallest Man on Earth with Strand of Oaks at Union Transfer.
• The 2nd Sigur Ros show at the Mann is long sold-out.

• Free movie series at the Queen: Shark Week kickoff with the Discovery channel's premiere of Ultimate Air Jaws.

• Oh! Pears with In One Wind (really great chamber pop band from NY) at Kung Fu Necktie.
• Beach: Rehoboth Farmers' Market, Tuesdays 12-4 thru late Oct. At lower end of Reho. Ave.

• Wilmington Farmers' Market, Wednesdays 10-2 thru mid-Oct. On Rodney Square.
• Kristin Hersch (of Throwing Muses fame), with Pete Donnelly, at the Queen.
• Bike & hike at Hagley Museum, 3 mile circuit. Every Wednesday through late August. 5-8pm, $2 (free for members and children).
• 4W5 Blues Jam at the Queen. 7pm, free.
• Helmet at the Trocadero.  Opening for The Toadies (yeah, really).
