Weekday events of note, 5/21-5/24:

NOTE!  I am currently traveling.  Therefore I compiled this weeks in advance and won't have made my usual last minute corrections.  If you decide to go to any of these events, your best bet is to check with the venue to make sure the event is still on / not sold-out.

Monday 5/21:

  • Special one-time-only screening at Theatre N of The Red Machine. 7pm.
  • Movie Monday at the Trocadero: Eddie Murphy Raw, stand-up special from 1987.  21+, $3.  Doors at 6:30, show at 8, arrive before 7 and get a free beer and popcorn.

Tuesday 5/22:
  • Trolley Square Farmers' Market, 4-7:30 next to Logan House.
  • Special one-time-only screening of More Than A Month, which I take it is about a young black man who aims to end black history month. 6:30 pm.
  • Spinto Band residency at Kung Fu Necktie, with The Extraordinaires.
  • Happy Hour Yoga & Craft Beer session at the Queen.
  • Maps & Atlases at Union Transfer.
  • Rehoboth Beach Farmers' Market, 12-4.

Wednesday 5/23:
  • Wilmington Farmers' Market, 10-2, Rodney Square.
  • 4W5 Blues Jam at the Queen. 7pm, free.
  • Free show Wednesday at Mojo Main, with Hippocampus.

Thursday 5/24:
  • Cool Spring Farmers' Market, 4-8, at the park at 10th & Jackson.
  • Newark's Mean Lady at the Trocadero Balcony, with Fantastic Planets.  Good to see worthy Delaware bands making inroads in Philly.
  • A RENT sing-a-long at the Queen, to benefit AIDS Delaware.
  • Special one-day-only screening of Saving Face, 7 & 8:30 pm.
  • Rocky Votolato at Milkboy Philly.
  • Karaoke at Mojo Main. 9pm, free
